...) The Druet gallery closes, this year, its series of exhibitions by a set, where if all is not of equal value, everything is also interesting. The small group that occupies the main rooms, composed of seven painters and a sculptor, was selected and chosen by Joachim Gasquet, our colleague and friend regretted, and this explains the quality of this meeting. The other painters are: Mr. Pierre Girieud, who in La Source de la Tinée, gives us a tasty composition and presents us with a nude, painted this time without care of any convention, with a remarkable fullness (...)
